Private Cycling Lessons

Alamo 180 offers private cycling sessions and one-on-one rides with a cycling coach. Each session is tailored to your specific cycling needs. Each guided ride includes immediate feedback on your cycling to ensure proper execution of your workout. Each session is scheduled for 1 hour.

Work on any or all of the following with one of our cycling experts:

  • Hill climbing
  • Descending
  • Drafting
  • Riding in a straight line
  • Cornering safely
  • Gaining confidence in pack riding
  • Group riding safety
  • Bottle exchanges
  • Braking
  • Shifting
  • Clipless pedal use
  • Safety skills
  • Emergency stopping

Necessary cycling gear (bike, shoes, helmet, appropriate clothing, fuel/water bottles if applicable) is required.

Cycling Coaching

Receive a customized cycling training program with appropriate workout duration, intensity, warm up, cool down and specific terrain prescribed.

The Cycling Coaching Package includes:

  • Quarterly fitness testing with heart rate & power (if using a power meter)
  • Establishment of training zones
  • Establishment of power zones & data analysis (if using a power meter)
  • Goal setting and race planning
  • Strength/core outlines and videos
  • Race day nutritional guidelines
  • Communication with your coach as needed through email or phone
  • A Training Peaks account
  • Ongoing workout feedback/review
  • Post-race evaluation of performance
  • Ongoing mental training homework/tips focusing on your ‘A’ races
  • Team forum access
  • All benefits associated with the triathlon team membership
  • Exclusive discounts on products, services, and sponsor deals

Plans start at $149-$179

+ $25 enrollment fee

Note: Minimum 3-6 month commitment strongly encouraged based on experience and peak ‘A’ races on your plan.
