Join Alamo 180 for a Run Skills Clinic! Topic: Cadence
Date: Friday, May 4
Location: Edison High School, track facility
This 1 hour clinic will cover what cadence is and how it correlates to improved run performance. If you’re wanting to get faster and more efficient in running, don’t neglect the importance of cadence. In addition to cadence, we will work on body positioning and run mechanics. This is a jammed packed clinic!
Believe it or not, running is a skill sport. It requires skill to move your body forward efficiently. You can’t power your way through miles upon miles with inefficient form and hope to get faster with lasting results. This clinic will teach you how to get your body in the most efficient position AND how to learn the right cadence for you so you can maximize your run potential.
Note: Expect to run about a mile in this clinic, it’s mostly drill work, so in shape or out of shape, come and learn a lot!
Hear what some of our past attendees had to say about the run clinic:
“My friend and I really enjoyed the running form class last night! We had a great progression run this morning between the dynamic warm ups and the alignment instructions. Thanks for a great class!”
“Enjoyed the clinic. Good to know I’m not all messed up! LOL! I wish I would have taken this course when I started. Thank you.”
“I learned SO much! Thank you for a great clinic!”
