Alamo 180’s OCR program challenges all levels of athletes, beginner to experienced. Our successful training approach is to help you develop what is physically necessary to finish…and with a huge smile on your face! The whole purpose of OCR is to have fun! It’s not about speed or how strong you are, it’s just another fun way of being healthy and active. It’s not about finishing first, it’s about finishing with a smile!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Group workouts will include the very obstacles encountered on race day: rope climbs, spear throws, bucket carries, sandbag carries, monkey bars, and more. Every workout can be scaled (made harder or easier) to meet the needs of beginners and experienced level athletes. OCR training is a blend of strength, endurance and skill.
TRAINING SESSIONS & SCHEDULE:
10 group training sessions during the 10 weeks.
— Saturdays at 8am. Alamo 180 studio. First Saturday WOD is September 8
— On Your Own Training Sessions: You will receive a training plan with select run/walk workouts to complete on your own during the week.
