Assistant Run Coach
A few years ago, I was just looking to stay in shape and live an active lifestyle. I casually started running in 2007, and successfully completed my first half marathon. I was immediately hooked on running! After completing several half marathons, I decided I wanted to run a marathon to check an item off of my bucket list. I had no clue how to train for a marathon so I reached out to Coach Lexa and Alamo 180 for some help. In 2015, I joined the Alamo 180 training family and successfully completed my first marathon and even finished within my goal time! Training with Alamo 180 has truly changed my running and endurance sports hobby into a passion of mine. As I started to see my efforts and consistent hard work transform into PR’s and results, I knew I found something I really enjoy. I believe that consistent, specific and focused training along with determination, patience and hard work are the real keys to success. You don’t have to be the best, you just have to be your best! Alamo 180 has really helped me develop in running, endurance sports and strength training, and has helped me become better athlete. The training team holds me accountable to the goals I’ve set for myself and has been essential to helping me achieve my goals. I am excited to help others on their journey to achieving their athletic goals.
